Application Data

The main applications for FIBERBOND® products are in the offshore oil and gas industry, chemical and petrochemical industry, pulp and paper industry and marine industry.

The FIBERBOND® product is an alternative to stainless steels, copper-nickel pipe, other alloys, and other reinforced and non-reinforced plastics at temperatures up to 250F (121c) and pressures up to 290psig (20 bar).

Typical applications for FIBERBOND® products range from mild sea water service to heavy duty chemical applications, and include column piping, sea water systems, open drain headers, ballast piping, firewater systems, caustic services, chlorine headers, brine piping, and acid lines. More detail on these applications, and the FIBERBOND® products typically applied, are included in the industry specific documents below. General descriptions and brief application details are listed below the industry specific sections.
